Terms of Service
Effective June 1, 2026
By downloading or using DialedIn, you agree to these terms. I've written them to be straightforward. If something isn't clear, just ask.
Use the app fairly
DialedIn is for personal, lawful use. Don't reverse engineer it, tamper with it, submit false data through equipment requests, or use it in any way that could harm others.
Account
Creating an account is optional. If you do, you're responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity under your account. Let me know immediately if something looks off.
Your data is yours
Everything you create in DialedIn belongs to you. I don't claim any rights to your brew logs, notes, or preferences. Local data stays on your device — I can't access it and I'm not responsible for it if your device is lost or the app is uninstalled.
Brew parameters are informational
DialedIn is a tracking tool. Any parameters, ratios, or suggestions in the app are for reference only. I make no guarantees about the quality or outcome of any brew. You're responsible for your own equipment and brewing practices.
The app is provided as-is
I've worked hard to make DialedIn reliable, but I can't guarantee it'll be perfect all the time. The app is provided "as is" — without warranties of any kind. I'm not liable for data loss, lost revenue, equipment damage, or any other indirect damages.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the past twelve months, or 0 — whichever is less.
Purchases and subscriptions
DialedIn offers an optional Pro subscription. All payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) depending on where you downloaded the app. I don't handle payment details directly.
iOS: Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. For refunds, contact Apple Support.
Android: Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. Manage or cancel in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. For refunds, contact Google Play Support.
Apple App Store
These terms are between you and me — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support, warranties, or to address any claims related to the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Google Play Store
These terms are between you and me — not Google. Google has no obligation to provide support, warranties, or to address any claims related to the app. If there is any conflict between these terms and Google Play's Developer Distribution Agreement, Google Play's terms govern only to the extent required.
Intellectual property
DialedIn, its design, and its code are mine. Please don't copy, redistribute, or build on it without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in California, except either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes
I may update these terms when something meaningful changes. I'll update the effective date when I do. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
